The first speaker in our new seminar series, Projects, will be Jennifer Richards (Joseph Cowen Professor of English Literature, Newcastle). In this series, speakers will discuss the funded research activities they’re involved with or with which they have been involved in the past.

Professor Richards specialises in Renaissance English literature and the histories of rhetoric, reading and the book.

In this session, Professor Richards will be discussing her involvement in the Thomas Nashe project, which focuses on the works and language of the Elizabethan writer, polemicist and playwright, Thomas Nashe.
