Workshop on the editing of the English Reformation
Professor Lori Anne Ferrell is John D. and Lillian Maguire Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at Claremont Graduate University. She has worked extensively on early modern religion and is the author of several books, including Government By Polemic: James I, the King’s Preachers, and the Rhetorics of Conformity, 1603–1625 (Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, 1998) and The Bible and the People (London and New Haven: Yale University Press, 2008).

To prepare for the workshop, please look especially at the Introduction, corrections, and contents of the The Zurich Letters (second series) comprising the Correspondence of Several English Bishops and Others with Some of the Helvetian Reformers during the Reign of Queen Elizabeth (1845) (and if you have time to leaf through some letters so much the better):
