Sheffield’s postgraduate-run Eighteenth Century Reading Group has expanded its remit for 2016-2017. Coordinator Alison Horgan advises on what’s happening, and how to get involved:
Coming up next Tuesday (11th October), we welcome Stephen Basdeo from Leeds Trinity University, who will be introducing discussion of Robin Hood, with his talk entitled “Robin Hood: Highwayman and Murderer“.* The other dates for diaries are Tuesday 1st November, Tuesday 22nd November and Tuesday 13th December.So what’s new? –This year we are launching an exchange with the lovely people at CECS in York. We will be going to York on November 1st to their Postgraduate Forum and they will be coming to Sheffield on November 29th. Join us on one or both dates if you can.
